Amazing things happen when we celebrate the promises and purposes of God's Word, engage deeper in its message ourselves, and share its transforming power with those in need.

What is Bible Sunday?

Since its inception in 1915 by the American Bible Society, thousands of church families have set aside a special day to celebrate and advocate for the Bible.

It is officially recognized on November 23, but you may choose any day that is convenient to your church calendar. A special offering is typically taken that day to support the work of the American Bible Society and the Bible cause.

Once you have signed up your congregation, you can access FREE BIBLE SUNDAY RESOURCES: bulletin inserts, sermon notes, promotional materials, Scripture engagement tools and more. Together we are changing the hearts and lives of people by sharing God's Word!

Send God's Word to the World

The American Bible Society helps assure that those most in need of God’s Word will be able receive it in a language they can understand and a form that they will embrace.

Your congregation can support one of five specially-selected projects this Bible Sunday.
